Master’s degree graduates of Vilnius University Faculty of Law (VU TF) obtained Master’s diplomas this week at the annual ceremony held in St. John's Church. A commission had evaluated junior lawyers’ Master’s thesis and awarded the authors. Dominas & Partners awarded 1000 EUR prize to Mr. Mindaugas Dominykas Baniulis an author of the first place winner for the master’s thesis in the field of commercial law.
A commission composed of representatives from Dominas & Partners as well as professors from Law Faculty of Vilnius University awarded the first place and the monetary award to M. Baniulis for his contribution made by detailed analysis of the business judgement rule – a subject that is very relevant and important to today‘s business law.
The second place was given to Agnė Lukoševičiūtė for her analysis of different concepts of company control in competition law while the third place was received by Karolis Vaičekauskas for his master‘s thesis on the conceptual question whether the application of competition rules to restrictive agreements, falling within the ambit of copyright, is the most appropriate measure to solve the problems of the Digital Single Market. The authors obtained honor certificates.
